Today the world celebrates what would have been the 100th birthday of former South African President, Nelson Mandela. His grandson and film producer, Kweku Mandela, is carrying on his undefeatable and uplifting spirit with non profit fledgling, Represent Global. The organization partnered with motion art startup, Plotaverse, to create an eye popping photo animation contest.

“Dance Like Mandela” is Represent Global‘s call to the world. As one of Plotaverse’s biggest fans, their idea was to proactively involve artists from around the world to help re-create Nelson Mandela’s motivational inspiration. Plotaverse’s newly released motion art Contest page became the perfect celebration ground for Kweku Mandela’s message. In the morning of Nelson Mandela’s birthday, Plotaverse opened the “Dance Like Mandela” photo animation contest. Mandela can be seen dancing with a big smile in a variety of fireworks, glitter, and glowing garlands. As art contributions were flying in, it becomes apparent that the small startup has created a visually powerful impact on Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.
